A journey of movement, stillness and Sri Lankan soul
Arrive and transfer inland to Anamaduwa. Settle into a jungle-quiet retreat setting among lakes and paddy — a soft landing after the journey.
Morning yoga, village walks, lake time and the slow rhythm of rural Sri Lanka. Time to arrive fully in body and mind.
Move into the Cultural Triangle via Dambulla and arrive in the Sigiriya countryside. First views of the rock fortress rising from the plains.
Morning yoga with fortress views, then time at the rock, frescoes and water gardens. Balance of exploration and rest.
Day trip to Polonnaruwa — Gal Vihara’s Buddhas and the medieval capital’s ruins — returning to Sigiriya for evening Ayurveda or yoga.
Travel via Matale into the hills and arrive in Kandy — cultural and spiritual heart of the island beside the lake.
Morning meditation and yoga, then the Temple of the Tooth. Afternoon Ayurvedic treatment and a lakeside walk at dusk.
A second full day in Kandy for deeper rest: yoga, optional gardens or crafts, further Ayurveda, and free time by the lake.
Climb into tea country toward Ella — cooler air, pine and valley views. Stretch session and an early night for tomorrow’s peak walk.
Morning hike to Little Adam’s Peak for tea-plantation panoramas. Afternoon yoga and optional visit to the Nine Arch Bridge.
Descend from the hills to Tangalle’s quieter south-coast beaches. Closing yoga by the sea and a barefoot walk at golden hour.
Final breakfast and optional short meditation, then transfer toward Colombo and the airport. The journey ends; the practice continues.
