A restorative 12-day journey through sacred sites, tea hills and the coast — daily yoga, Ayurveda and slow travel from Anamaduwa and Sigiriya to Kandy, Ella and Tangalle.

Follow the line down — each pin is a day, each stop is where you'll sleep.
Ayubowan! Welcome to Sri Lanka. Transfer inland from the airport to Anamaduwa — a quieter rural pocket of lakes, paddy and jungle fringe. Soft landing: unpack, gentle stretch, and settle into the retreat rhythm after your flight.

Morning yoga as the countryside wakes, then unhurried village walks, lake time and local meals. Optional short bicycle or tuk-tuk loop to nearby tanks and temples. The day is paced for recovery — breathe, move gently, and arrive fully in body and mind.

Journey into the Cultural Triangle via Dambulla’s cave-temple region, arriving in the Sigiriya countryside. First views of the rock fortress rising from the plains. Evening yoga or meditation as light falls on the gardens and water tanks.

Morning yoga with fortress views, then guided time at Sigiriya — water gardens, frescoes and the climb for those who want it (support stays below for anyone preferring a gentler day). Afternoon free for pool rest or a short countryside cycle. Balance of exploration and stillness.

Day trip into Polonnaruwa, the medieval capital — Gal Vihara’s rock-cut Buddhas, royal ruins and quiet reservoir shores. Return to the Sigiriya area for evening Ayurveda or yoga. A cultural day with room to move at your own pace.

Travel via Matale into the central hills, arriving in Kandy — the island’s cultural and spiritual heart beside the lake. Check in, short orientation walk, and an evening session of gentle yoga or meditation to mark the shift into highland air.

Morning meditation and yoga, then a respectful visit to the Temple of the Tooth Relic within the former royal complex. Afternoon Ayurvedic consultation or treatment as arranged. Lake-side walk at dusk; dinner featuring lighter, spa-friendly Sri Lankan cuisine.

A second full day in Kandy for deeper rest: morning yoga, optional botanical gardens or craft workshop, and further Ayurveda as desired. Free time for cafés around the lake or simply reading in the shade. Heal body and soul in the hills.

Climb into classic tea country toward Ella — cooler air, pine and eucalyptus, and valley views. Afternoon stretch session or short village walk. Sunset viewpoints near town if energy allows; early night for tomorrow’s peak walk.

Morning hike to Little Adam’s Peak for tea-plantation and valley panoramas (gentle pace, plenty of photo stops). Afternoon yoga, optional visit to the Nine Arch Bridge, and free time in Ella’s cafés. Highlands day focused on views rather than distance.

Descend from the hills to the south coast at Tangalle — quieter beaches, coconut shade and Indian Ocean horizon. Closing yoga by the sea, barefoot beach walk, and a celebratory dinner. A soft end to the journey before tomorrow’s departure.

After a final breakfast and optional short meditation, supported transfer toward Colombo and the international airport. The itinerary ends; the practice continues — carry the slower rhythm of Anamaduwa, Sigiriya, Kandy, Ella and Tangalle home with you.
